Did Varun Dhawan get depressed?
When asked if Varun Dhawan is suffering from depression because of Baby John's failure, Rajpal Yadav clarified that this isn't true. In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Rajpal Yadav mentioned, "Varun is a very good boy, very hardworking. He consistently tries to do different things. His efforts deserve appreciation because taking risks is significant."
Rajpal Yadav stated that if Baby John had not been a remake of the South film Theri, it might have been the most successful film of his 25-year career. However, because Thalapathy Vijay played the lead in the original, the audience was already familiar with the story, which affected its box office results. In the movie, Rajpal Yadav played the role of constable Ramsevak.
