BHU Recruitment : In 2025, Banaras Hindu University (BHU) initiated 43 new recruitment opportunities for research and non-teaching positions. These roles are open for a range of non-teaching staff, such as senior and junior scientists, at the South Campus Barkacha in Mirzapur. Candidates interested in applying can do so online through the official BHU website.

The application form deadline is 6 February by 5 pm, and the hard copy must be submitted by 11 February at Holkar Bhawan, BHU. The application fee is one thousand rupees for the scientist position and 500 rupees for non-teaching staff.
Recruitment for these posts
The purpose of these recruitments is to advance research on wheat, rice, pulses, mustard, and seeds at the South Campus as part of the All India Coordinated Research Project by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research. The positions available include teaching roles such as matter specialist, junior pathologist, and maize breeder. For non-teaching roles, positions include supporting staff, program assistant, and farm manager. These recruitments are on a contract basis for up to five years.
Qualification and age limit
Level-14 positions necessitate 10 years of experience along with a PhD. Level-13A positions require 8 years of experience, while level-10 positions demand an MSc or PhD qualification. For lower-level positions, candidates need a 12th grade and BSc/MSc qualification. The age limit for non-teaching positions is 18-30 years for the general category, 18-33 years for OBC, and 18-35 years for SC/ST. There is no age limit for teaching positions.
Salary
These positions are categorized into nine groups, with pay scales spanning from Pay Band Level 4 to Academic Level 14. The salaries for these roles can vary from ₹25,500 to ₹81,000 and ₹1,44,200 to ₹2,18,200.
