BPSC Student Protest: Prashant Kishor, the founder of Jan Suraj, stated that there is nothing wrong if they are fasting in a public place without causing any disruption or harming government property.

BPSC Student Protest News: Jan Suraj founder Prashant Kishor has been on a hunger strike under the Gandhi statue in Gandhi Maidan since 5 pm on Thursday, demanding the cancellation of the BPSC 70th PT exam. Prashant Kishor, who is staging a protest in Patna despite the chilly 12-degree weather, told ABP News that he is committed to his cause. He mentioned that once he decides to sit, he does so. This is not a new experience for him, as he has been traveling on foot for 2 years, visiting village after village.
We are doing a Satyagraha - Prashant Kishore
When Prashant Kishore was asked about the legality of his fast unto death and the government's claim that the area is not meant for demonstrations, he questioned what was illegal about his actions. He explained that he is not protesting or demonstrating but is on a hunger strike, describing their actions as a Satyagraha. He noted that farmers in Delhi have been protesting by sitting on roads for months. They are present with their demands, and the area they occupy is also not designated for protests or hunger strikes, with no government permission granted there either.
The founder of Jan Suraj also mentioned that peacefully fasting to express your views, without creating disturbances or damaging public property, is not wrong. Prashant Kishore pointed out that many people are living without authorization in different areas of Patna. He questioned whether the administration plans to remove these individuals and clear those areas, implying that this involves the use of force.
The fight does not become stronger by sitting under a stick'
When Prashant Kishor was questioned about how much more intense the fight would become by sitting under Bapu's stick, he responded that sitting under a stick doesn't make the fight stronger. He emphasized that his strength lies in his character and in the subject of the fight, making it stronger than those already involved. He mentioned that what Bapu taught should be listened to, understood, and put into practice. Simply erecting a statue does not make one a follower of Bapu.
