Prashant Kishor and over 19 others have been charged under several serious sections for encouraging candidates to protest in the streets and causing disorder.

Following the uproar and protest by the candidates of the Bihar Public Service Commission, a case has been filed against Prashant Kishor in Patna. Additionally, a case has been filed against Manoj Bharti, the state president of Prashant Kishor's party. Several serious charges have been levied against Prashant Kishor for inciting candidates to take to the streets and cause a disturbance. More than 19 individuals, including Prashant Kishor, have been named as accused, along with over 600 unidentified individuals. In fact, the administration had not granted permission for the demonstration at Gandhi Maidan.
Case registered against 21 people including Prashant Kishor
The FIR has been filed against several individuals, including Prashant Kishor, Manoj Bharti (President of Jan Suraj Party), coaching operator Rahmanshu Mishra, Nikhil Mani Tiwari, Subhash Kumar Thakur, Shubham Snehil, Anand Mishra, RK Mishra, Vishnu Kumar, and Sujit Kumar of Tsunami Coaching, making a total of 21 named individuals. Additionally, an FIR has been registered against 600-700 unidentified persons.
Today, on Sunday, BPSC candidates organized a sit-in protest at Gandhi Maidan in Patna. The police prevented the candidates from protesting. From the morning, Gandhi Maidan resembled a police camp. By evening, the situation deteriorated. According to the planned schedule, all the candidates began heading towards the CM House under Prashant Kishore's leadership, and the police attempted to stop them. Subsequently, the candidates broke through the barricades and tried to advance. The students started stopping regular vehicles and blocked the road. In response, the police conducted a lathi-charge on the students. Following the lathi-charge, the commotion among the angry students intensified.
