The Yogi government in UP has organized a conference for all women MLAs from Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, where MLAs from both ruling and opposition parties will gather to discuss women's issues.

CM Yogi's conference : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has arranged a conference for all women MLAs from UP and Uttarakhand, with participation from 48 women MLAs from UP and 8 from Uttarakhand. The purpose of this conference is to empower and strengthen women. Women MLAs from the opposition have also been invited, including SP MLA Naseem Solanki, who will address the issue of rape incidents in front of CM Yogi.
Arrangements are underway for the conference scheduled in Kanpur on January 8, 2025. Invitations have been dispatched to all female MLAs. The conference will be headed by CM Yogi Adityanath, with the Speaker of the State Assembly, Satish Mahana, also taking part in the event. There will be an in-depth discussion on women's safety and empowerment. Additionally, training will be provided on advocating for women's interests in the assembly. SP MLA Naseem Solanki will also attend.
Women MLAs of UP-Uttarakhand will participate
Women MLAs from Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh have been invited to the conference. SP MLA Naseem Solanki has confirmed receiving the invitation. The conference will address issues related to women, including discussions on how women can benefit from government schemes. He commended the state government's initiative, describing the program as beneficial, but emphasized that it should also cover issues that directly benefit women.
Naseem Solanki stated that she will advocate for women's safety at this conference, considering the daily incidents of rape against women. Many women continue to be affected by law and order issues and are not receiving the full benefits of government programs. She will also discuss how women can become stronger in the future. Additionally, she will address topics such as female prisoners, the safety of working women, women's respect, employment, and women's equal participation at the conference.
