Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav extended his congratulations to Vikram University Ujjain for introducing the Dairy Technology course. He stated that the youth, skilled in dairy technology, will elevate Madhya Pradesh to a leading position in milk production through their determination and diligent efforts utilizing dairy technology.

Madhya Pradesh the dairy capital : Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated in Ujjain that India is currently among the youngest nations. Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision, we must fully leverage the power of youth for national interest and development. Dairy technology offers a new opportunity for the youth. Vikram University in Ujjain, the educational place of Lord Krishna, is introducing an academic degree course in Dairy Technology. Students in Ujjain, along with those in Jabalpur, will now have access to a degree course in animal husbandry.
He stated that in the future, this course will be offered at other universities in accordance with the National Education Policy 2020. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was speaking at the seminar organized by the Animal Husbandry Department and Vikram University on Sunday at the Golden Jubilee Auditorium of Vikram University Ujjain.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that the youth trained in Dairy Technology will elevate Madhya Pradesh to the forefront of milk production through the application of dairy technology. India is the world's largest milk producer, with Madhya Pradesh holding the third position nationally, contributing 9% to the country's milk output. The state's average milk production is 673 grams, compared to the national average of 471 grams. We should not rest on these accomplishments. Given the state's geographical location, abundant water resources, and fertile land, we can reach this goal through coordinated efforts in the right direction.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that to transform the state into the dairy capital of the country, the government will offer bonuses to cattle farmers based on the per liter purchase of milk. Additionally, the government is making every effort to ensure sufficient food supply for the livestock. To achieve this, the irrigation area will be expanded. The Malwa region, already prosperous in agriculture, will now also thrive in animal husbandry.
Divisional Commissioner and Ujjain Milk Union Administrator Sanjay Gupta delivered the welcome speech, expressing gratitude to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav for enhancing agriculture and animal husbandry through the Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal and Ken-Betwa River Link Projects. The Registrar also conveyed appreciation for the event.
