Maharashtra : CM Devendra Fadnavis has responded to the remarks made by NCP (SP) leader Sharad Pawar. Fadnavis stated that Sharad Pawar is like Chanakya and must have understood that the false narrative spread by MVA in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections did not succeed in the assembly elections.

He mentioned that Sharad Pawar must have realized that this force (RSS) is not just about ordinary politics but is a force dedicated to nation-building. This is likely why he praised the RSS. Pawar attributed BJP's success to the RSS and also commended BJP's victory in the assembly elections.

Nothing is impossible in politics - Fadnavis

Regarding the potential reconciliation or alliance between the Sharad Chandra Pawar faction and the Ajit Pawar faction, Devendra Fadnavis remarked, "Let me inform you, you might recall my statements post-2019. The occurrences from 2019 to 2024 have taught me that in politics, nothing is impossible. Don't proceed with the assumption that nothing will occur. Anything can happen at any moment."

As reported by ABP Majha, Fadnavis also stated, "Uddhav Thackeray can go there, Ajit Pawar can come here. In politics, anything is possible. We assert strongly that this won't occur, but we must remember that the political landscape offers no guarantees about future developments."

At the Jeevhala award ceremony in Nagpur on January 10, Devendra Fadnavis was questioned about whether he would side with Raj Thackeray or Uddhav Thackeray, and Eknath Shinde or Ajit Pawar. His responses to choosing between Narendra Modi and Amit Shah have sparked widespread discussion. When asked to choose between Raj Thackeray and Uddhav Thackeray, Fadnavis remarked, "In politics, nothing is certain. Uddhav Thackeray was initially my friend, then Raj Thackeray became one. Currently, Raj Thackeray is a friend, and Uddhav Thackeray is not an adversary."

Who does Fadnavis trust more, Shinde or Pawar?

Whom should Devendra Fadnavis trust completely as an ally? In response to this, he mentioned, "If you ask me, I have very close relationships with both Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar. They might have different connections with various individuals. Eknath Shinde and I have been friends for a long time. Nonetheless, due to Ajit Pawar's political maturity, our thinking aligns."
