Manu Bhaker Medals: captivated the entire nation with her precise shooting during the Paris Olympics last year. This Indian shooting star made history by winning two medals at the Paris Olympics. But now, both of this legendary shooter's medals will be returned, and this is a source of great joy for Manu Bhaker. In fact, the condition of both bronze medals of this renowned Indian shooter had deteriorated, and now the French company Monnaie de Paris, which crafted these medals, will provide Manu with brand new ones. According to media reports, the color of Manu Bhaker's medals had faded, and their condition worsened just a few days after her victory at the Paris Olympics.

Many athletes had complained

Manu Bhaker wasn't the only one; many athletes worldwide had raised concerns about the medals awarded at the Paris Olympics. Athletes shared images of the poor quality of the Paris Olympics medals on social media. Following these complaints, the International Olympic Committee announced that the damaged Olympic medals would be repaired by Monnaie de Paris and returned to the athletes in brand-new condition. The Paris Olympic Organizing Committee had contracted Monnaie de Paris to produce the medals. It is a state-owned company that also manufactures coins and other currency for France. According to the report, the company will replace all the damaged medals of the athletes in the coming week. The French company Monnaie de Paris incorporated iron pieces from the Eiffel Tower into each medal. This company produced 5,084 gold, silver, and bronze medals for the Olympic Games.

Manu Bhaker's records

Manu Bhaker first secured a bronze in the women's 10-meter air pistol event, becoming the first Indian woman shooter to win a medal at any Olympics. Following this, Manu earned another bronze medal in the mixed 10-meter air pistol team event, partnering with Sarabjot Singh. She became the first Indian to win two medals at an Olympics after the country's independence.
