RRB NTPC Exam 2024-25: Important Dates, Admit Card Process and Exam Schedule

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) NTPC exam 2024-25 dates are scheduled in February-March 2025. This exam is an important part of the recruitment process for various posts in Indian Railways, which provides a golden opportunity for lakhs of candidates. Admit cards for the exam will be available four days before the exam, which is an important document for the candidates.

RRB NTPC Exam 2024-25: Procedure to download the admit card:

First of all, visit the official website of RRB, where you will find all the important notifications related to the exam.

There, you will have to enter your registration number and password, which you received while applying.

Next, click on the “Admit Card Download” link, which will give you access to your admit card.

Once your admit card opens, take a printout of it and verify all the details, such as name, exam date, and center, are correct.

It is important to ensure that all the details are correct, so that you do not face any kind of problem on the day of the exam.

The admit card contains important information like the date, time, and venue of the exam, so it is necessary to handle it carefully. Also, the exam center and city information will be released 6–7 days before the exam, which will help candidates plan their travel. All these documents can be downloaded from the official website of RRB, which is a convenient and easy process for the candidates.


The exam will be conducted in three shifts, giving all candidates the opportunity to appear for the exam as per their convenience. Reporting time has also been fixed for each shift so that candidates can reach the exam centre on time:

Shift 1: 9:00 am to 10:30 am (Reporting time: 7:30 am) - Candidates appearing in this shift are required to reach on time and complete their identification and other formalities.

Shift 2: 12:45 pm to 2:15 pm (Reporting time: 11:15 am) - Candidates appearing in this shift are also required to reach on time so that they can complete all the procedures required for the exam.

Shift 3: 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm (Reporting time: 3:00 pm) - For the last shift also, candidates are required to report on time so that they can appear for the exam.
