In the meantime, the first mainboard IPO of the new year is set to open in the second week. This is the IPO of Standard Glass Lining, which will be available for investment starting Monday, January 6, 2025, and will remain open until January 8. The price range for the Standard Glass Lining IPO is set between ₹133 and ₹140. It is important to note that this share is currently not available in the gray market.
The IPO includes a new share issuance worth ₹210 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of 14,289,367 shares, amounting to ₹200 crore at the highest price band. Consequently, the total offer size is ₹410 crore. Retail investors can apply for the IPO in lots of 107 shares and in multiples of that number. In this IPO, 50% of the offer is allocated to qualified institutional buyers, 35% to retail investors, and 15% to non-institutional investors. Bidding for anchor investors will commence on Friday, January 3.
From the newly raised funds through the Standard Glass Lining IPO, the company intends to allocate ₹10 crore for acquiring machinery and equipment. Additionally, it is contemplating using ₹130 crore to settle certain borrowings of the company and its subsidiaries. Furthermore, the company plans to invest ₹30 crore in its wholly-owned subsidiary, S2 Engineering, to meet capital expenditure needs for purchasing machinery and equipment, ₹20 crore to support inorganic growth through strategic investments, and the remaining funds for corporate purposes.
