UGC NET: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the certificates for the UGC NET June 2024 exam today. These certificates are available for candidates who passed the UGC NET exam in the June session. Candidates can now download their certificates by visiting the official website ugcnet.nta.ac.in. To access the download, candidates need to enter their application number, date of birth, and security pin.
Results were declared on 17 October
UGC NET June 2024 results were announced on 17 October. A total of 1,70,734 candidates passed the exam, qualifying for JRF (Junior Research Fellowship), Assistant Professor positions, and PhD admission. This exam has facilitated the selection of candidates for teaching and research roles nationwide.
The UGC NET June 2024 examination, initially held in OMR-based mode, was cancelled due to a paper leak. Following this issue, the exam was rescheduled and conducted from 21 August to 5 September 2024. During this timeframe, out of 11,21,225 registered candidates, 6,84,224 candidates took the exam.
Importance of UGC NET Certificate
The UGC NET certificate confirms that a candidate is eligible to apply for teaching positions at various universities and colleges in India. Additionally, candidates who have qualified for JRF have the opportunity to conduct research in their selected field and receive financial support through scholarships or fellowships.
