Those with blood pressure or heart issues should particularly avoid overusing hot water.

During winter, people often hesitate to put their hands in cold water, preferring to bathe with hot water instead. However, this can have some negative effects.

Hot water can eliminate the natural moisture of the skin, due to which the skin becomes dry and itchy. In such a situation, your skin problem may increase. If you use hot water regularly, you may suffer from problems like allergies, rashes and eczema. Use lukewarm water instead and do not forget to apply moisturizer after bathing.


Hair problems

Hot water can also damage your hair. Because hot water removes the natural moisture of the hair, which can make the hair dry and lifeless and after some time your hair will start falling. Extremely hot water can increase the problem of dandruff in the hair.


Effect on blood pressure

Bathing with hot water can increase blood pressure, people with high blood pressure should not use hot water. Extremely hot water can spoil the body temperature. Use fresh and slightly lukewarm water.


Bathe for a short time

Avoid bathing with hot water for extended periods, as it can affect your body temperature. On cold days, a 5-minute bath is sufficient. Apply moisturizer right after bathing to preserve your skin's moisture.
